I have been using this processor for almost 2 years now. Operates at a frequency of 3.8 at 1.2625v. With the Sctythe Mugen 5.1 cooler, the temperature in games rarely exceeds 50 degrees, more often 46-48. Performance per 1 core is modest, but sufficient. I managed to test it in a huge number of demanding both single-player games and multiplayer shooters. With skillful tuning, there are no microfreezes and statters. In shooters at the minimum graphics settings, the processor is quite capable of delivering 100-200 fps. In addition, the r5 1600 is currently very cheap (about 8k). It will be relevant for a long time, especially considering the similar configuration of the next generation of consoles, under which games will be made for the next 7 years.
