first let me say that i lost my hair to breast cancer and when it grew back i didn't want to use a relaxant (chemical straightener) to do my hair is straight . So I'm back to the old days when my mom straightened them on the stove with a HOT comb LOL. However, this one is electric and enriched with argan oil and keratin. This straightening comb is great! My hair felt like silk with no excessive heat (I used 320°) and no burns. Whoever wrote that this comb doesn't get hot must have broken the comb because this little sucker is HOT, HOT, HOT. Absolute purchase recommendation for this product. You will not regret it! This is a great alternative to resting and is much healthier.
