After trying semi-successfully to make zucchini noodles with a grater, I decided a spiralizer was worth the small investment. I live in a small apartment, that's one of the reasons I chose this model over the large standing models. I've only used this a few times so far on zucchini and cucumbers so I can't comment on longevity but I can say it's easy to use, easy to peel and transforms zucchini into something I'll eat. There is a real victory! The bag is convenient for storage and the brush helps with cleaning. I had to trim the zoodles a bit because otherwise they would be too long to eat. This worked well for the lollipops you find at the grocery store, but for homemade veggies I have to quarter them to use the spiralizer. No big deal, just a little extra work. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new way to cook veggies.
