No better than the unbalanced antenna that came with the receiver
It does not give better reception than the unbalanced antenna that came with my Marantz receiver. Both this and the OEM antenna have dead zones (walking in certain areas of the room while the radio is playing will completely cut reception) and background hiss from time to time. I had an old dipole with a different receiver and it worked fine for remote stations too. But it was a lot longer than this little thing. I do not recommend.
