Appears floating in a paper envelope that does not protect anything that simply needs to be folded. Fortunately this is not the case. The rod did not live up to the advertised specifications which was determined by comparing it to three others that I know were correct. There were also large burrs on either end of the rod that bent over the last 5mm of the thread pattern.
