I have an older AT&T 210 that I've owned since the 1990's. The build quality of this particular version is very high. It is durable, has a good weight and above all it is very reliable. It's the kind of phone that lets you bang nails in all day, come back at night, and still make calls with ease. However, the new version I recently ordered from Revain is vastly inferior to mine. older. The new version looks very cheap. This is a light pen. The speaker audio is loud/static at times and the ringer is not as loud as my old version. It's easy to see that whoever is now making this phone for AT&T is doing their best to keep costs down by using the cheapest, lowest quality parts. I mentioned above that the current version of this phone is very light. That annoys me the most about it. When I have it on my desk or desk and make the slightest movement while using it, the base of the phone moves from all directions. It always falls off my desk. I have never had such a problem with my older one because of his weight. The new version is really better to use for wall mounting. However, I've come to the conclusion that AT&T phones aren't as good as they were 15-20 years ago. My opinion wasn't formed solely on this particular phone. In the past few years I've bought another AT&T phone that also had a lot of problems. It's a shame. AT&T used to sell premium landlines. Their logo on the phone was synonymous with quality. Unfortunately, this seems to be a thing of the past. Of course, I will not be buying any more AT&T phone products in the future.
