Of course it's a gaming chair, but it's actually pretty average. There is virtually no padding in the lower seat, so when you first sit in your butt feels the hardness of the seat beneath you. Now imagine sitting on it every day for a month, 6 months a year... these little pillows will literally feel nothing and you will feel a pain in the ass just like me. The headrest is ok but the bottom pillow completely makes up for it as I have to get up every 15 minutes. The speakers are loud for music but not for gaming. Turn on Spotify and the room will explode. However, keep this in mind. It's very quiet for gaming sound. I don't know why those old gaming chairs do that. I have another X Rocker Floor Gaming chair with the same issue. Loud in music but quiet in games. So don't rely on this chair for quality gaming audio. All in all it was a waste of money. The points above explain why this chair sucks at gaming and for the price this chair is dated. It's too late to return it now, which is annoying. But I wouldn't buy it.
