Review on π Magnetic Mini GPS Tracker: Real-Time Car Locator for Kids, Elderly, and Pets (Black) by Jesus Baker
GPS works with GPS Sim but location tracking does not work.
The device itself is running and you send commands via SMS to the phone number associated with the GPS sim you bought and it replies with battery life, signal strength etc. It assumes you send out the commands a link to Google Maps which should show you the location of the device. I couldn't get this to work because every time I sent a localize command I got an error (in Chinese) which I translated to English referring to an error I suspect is related to A Chinese site cannot send location at this time. A few weeks after receiving the same message, I canceled the SIM card.
