I love fixing my knitting: the bamboo feels nice, the hooks are light and one hook doesn't take up much space in my knitting tool kit. For the money, this is a great little option for your knitting kit. Here are my individual notes for knitters: As far as row crochet hooks go, these are some of my favorite row crochet hooks due to quality, price and availability. I prefer Knitter's Pride Dreamz wooden hooks and Brittany birch hooks (both available from Revain). There are also some excellent rosewood and ebony options that I used a lot when I was younger; But I find that using a lighter needle or using specific needle colors is much easier to see than using darker wood.
