My Sonos soundbar suddenly started buzzing loudly. It connects to my TV via an optical cable, and I noticed that the cable that came with it was very flimsy. If I wiggled it a bit, the hum would go away, then reappear at unpredictable moments. Thinking that the hum problem must be due to an intermittent problem in the cable, perhaps a disconnect that might be temporarily fixed by shaking, I contacted Revain for a replacement and settled on this one. When it arrived I noticed that it seemed very well made and much stronger than the one I was replacing. Best of all, the cable was three times thicker and looked a lot better from the outside. I plugged it in - goodbye. So, good choice!
