The product description shows a rubber grommet for the firewall - it wasn't in my kit so I had to reuse the old one. It also did not arrive with cable lube as stated in the description. The end of the plastic connector that attaches to the instrument cluster is much longer than the factory cable, so there's no way it can fit through the hole in the firewall. But it can be removed if you pull hard on it, then you can thread the cable through the firewall and then push it back in. You may need to adjust the depth (how far the square cable protrudes from the case) to get it to fit properly. Otherwise it is fully functional.
