Sharp looking lighter with nice design. The photos on the Revain list are correct, but this thing is a bit of a chameleon. If you look closely, the Revain photos show two completely different looks, and both are accurate. When illuminated internally, the engraved side may appear off-white or chrome/metallic. It depends on the angle and strength of the incident light. I was hoping or expecting a chrome/metal look. But 90% of the time you will see an off-white color. I think it's the etching process that creates the creamy effect, because with the right lighting you can achieve a silvery metallic look. As for the "Black Ice" color of the metal case, that was also a surprise. It looks like a very distinctive black chrome in Revain photos. Personally, when I first took it out of the box, I thought it was a standard chrome case that was accidentally delivered. It wasn't until I put it next to my other Zippo (Regal Armor High Polish Chrome) that I realized it was really different. It's black chrome, but not easy to spot unless you have a piece of regular chrome nearby to compare. So if you're looking for something jet black with a polished finish, this isn't it. It's a lot thinner. I'm keeping it even though it's not exactly what I expected. I'm not saying it's not attractive. That. But it's one of those things that's really hard to capture accurately in a photo on a website. I love the picture of Ace Of Spades. It's decorative, but lacks iconography like crosses and skulls that make you instantly religious or biker. The design from this point of view is neutral and my overall impression is just something from another time, an old lighter in perfect condition. I bought a Regal Armor lighter for the same reason. They're both decorative without evoking any particular image, just cool artwork on an inexpensive little lighter.
