The bedspread itself is great, good material matches the weighted blanket, not too difficult to 'install' but the weighted blanket 'behaves' not like many other things you might cover up Due to the weight of the duvet, the duvet has a tendency to detach from the duvet despite ties. Straight top and bottom I will not be returning it as it is well made and protects the duvet itself but requires a different bonding technology for a perfect fit and finish. My current strategy is that every time we make a bed, I turn the comforter top-to-bottom so that the edge of the comforter matches the edge of the bedspread. Yes, the ties will keep the comforter from fully retracting from the sides, but it cannot prevent an o at least 2 inch "gap" where there is only one comforter as the quilt comes with the number provided of ribbons cannot fit snugly at the ends of the duvet. Maybe more links would help, but it would take a lot more!
