I've just built a gaming PC and I didn't want to waste my time and money on unstable Wi-Fi. Luckily, the computer wasn't too far from the modem, so I had some slack in that cable. It works and the included wall mounts make it easy to stay off the floor. In terms of speed, I didn't notice a slight drop compared to using the shorter cable, but considering it's less than 5Mbps, I'm willing to live with that. Especially when you consider the price and performance of the powerline adapter. Finally, the build quality is top-notch. I have this wedge between my door and the door frame, absolutely no visible gap after a week of use. I'll definitely update if I discover anything later.
