I would like to start this review by saying that this is my first embroidery project. Everything was included and looked just like the pictures. I really want to help every other newbie not to make the same mistakes as me. The instructions recommend strands, you must separate the strands from the floss included in the kit. I made the mistake of laying the whole thread in two layers first and then making one layer before realizing it needed to be divided. Aside from that little catch (which I found out in part three), I think the set is a lot of fun and a great place to start. I did a little extra research via google to find out what some of the stitches were and it really helped the quality of my work. I'm not sure I would recommend this as a starter project as the grid shows everything from behind which was quite difficult. But beyond this learning curve, I'm excited to continue my embroidery journey!
