Review on πŸ–±οΈ Verbatim USB Mini Travel Mouse for Mac and PC - Commuter Series Purple: Compact & Wired Optical Mouse by Diane Willis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

compact and easy to use

I hate using the touchpad on my laptop. I started using a mini USB mouse a few years ago and I really like them, especially when they have a retractable cord and even more so when they come in colors other than black and/or gray. When my last one stopped working I went to my house and they were gone. All they had that was close to my "as cheap as possible" budget was a $12 full size wireless mouse with a pink floral pattern. I ended up buying it because I genuinely hate the touchpad more than a full-size wireless mouse. After two days of use I gave up and switched to Revain. There were other minis that cost about the same, but this one had a retractable cord and a pretty color (pink). I wasn't paying attention to this mouse. I've dropped it on hard floors a few times and left it hanging on the edge of a table a few times when not in use. I've also been known to carry a laptop with a dangling mouse. Just a side note: I don't take my laptop and mouse out of the house but they are used on a daily basis, mostly by me and my husband and occasionally by my teenager. I am sure they are not careful with the mouse as it is not theirs. Regardless, it still works great. When I first got it, I plugged it in and within seconds it was up and running. I love it because it's compact yet easy to use; tucks away so cables don't hang around when not in use and I don't lose them like wireless cables; and because it is pink (the same color as the picture). It also didn't hurt that it cost $6.68 and had Prime. I have normal girly hands and fingers and the mouse is comfortable for me to use. These wired minis typically last a few months rather than a year. I will update if it stops working.
