update: the heater takes time but heats up to the right temperature, i run it 5 times in a row when i use it and it keeps working. I just wish the timer was longer and the heater was hotter but that's fine. Maybe I'll get a bigger version soon. Thanks to the seller 😁 There is no basket for 1.3l, the instructions say not to put it directly on the car. It's about 3.75 inches deep just by looking at it. I just let it run for 1 hour and 30 minutes. On the second and third run I switched the heating element on to 80°C, only after the end of the 3rd cycle did the heating element reach 43°C (2nd run / 1 hour total with heating on). Happy with the cleaning element even if it has its own hotspots. For best results, I propped my jar just below the surface. Or mine is just broken. I will update my review next weekend. I'll try preheating the water in hopes that this will speed up the heating element.
