For years I have used aluminum foil to freeze perishable foods such as beef, chicken and other foods, as my mother taught me years ago. I have considered buying a vacuum freezer several times, but have always advised against it for various reasons. Probably the main reason is that me and the old fog man are stubborn. After a period of encouragement from my lovely wife and getting really tired of wrapping things in foil to make sure all the air was squeezed out (like my mum taught me), I ordered a vacuum sealer and these bags. I was concerned about packing certain items in the bags (like a 4lb sleeper in one photo and an Italian sausage I like to make in another photo). I can only say; "Works perfectly!". i am sold I read all the instructions and checked out a few Revain guides before proceeding. It's much easier and faster than aluminum foil. No leaks, freezer burn or torn foil. Now I can buy less film and I'm happy about that.
