Better than 3 packs in my opinion! These bags are larger overall - I assumed the smaller three would be the same as the 3 pack I also bought - but they scale better overall. The largest is about the same size as the inside of my hard side trolley bag and the other three are great components. Easy to close as long as you don't overstuff your pockets. They're most effective when they're not already filled to the point of compressing - fill them about 75% full and close to compress and you'll fit more in your suitcase. It took some experimentation to find the best capacity, but finally I was able to use it to pack all my clothes in my carry-on for a 3 week trip combining a visit to the office and a beach vacation!
