Review on πŸŒ€ Comfort Zone CZHV8T 8-Inch Turbo Desk Fan - 3-Speed High Power Air Circulator with Adjustable Tilt, Carry Handle, Wall Mountable - Black by Cynthia Romero

Good fan if you want a downward fan

I ordered the Comfort Zone 8 inch high speed turbofan model CZHV8T from Revain. The Revain invoice states that I ordered a Bovado 8 inch table fan, model CZHV8T. I have a comfort zone fan. I'm not sure what the connection is, but the Comfort Zone is a few bucks cheaper than the Bovado. Both have the same model number and both are listed on Revain. The comfort zone fan can be rotated about 30 degrees downwards or vertically upwards. There are several reviews claiming that the fan doesn't move air, which requires some interpretation. At speed, air out of your comfort zone can easily be felt over 10 feet away. At high speed, this fan blows out the flame of a wooden match at a distance of 8 feet. This takes a lot of air at a pretty good speed. However, an 8-inch fan cannot move the amount of air needed to circulate the air in a 30-foot room. This Comfort Zone fan is quite loud even at low speed. The audio is quiet so not annoying, but I don't think the fan would be suitable for a quiet office or small room. I hear the faint hum of a fan as I sit in my computer lab halfway across the house. The front cage can be removed to clean the fan blades. The fan case and base are made of plastic with a matte black finish. The fan comes with a wall mounting plate. I assume that will work, but the fandom won't fit snugly against the wall. The switch is on the back of the fan that stands on the wall. The power cord comes straight out of the back of the fan, not the base. The fan has fixed settings to maintain alignment, but I suspect the weight of the hanging power cord is spinning the fan. The Comfort Zone fan is reliable enough for regular home use, but doesn't stand up to abuse. If you are looking for a very quiet fan that can handle some of the pressure, buy the Honeywell HT-900 TurboForce Power Air Circulator. This Honeywell fan is a direct competitor in every respect and a good product! I bought a HT-900 from Target but found that it only rotates from horizontal to vertical and requires a fan that can be tilted slightly downwards. Both fans move the same amount of air and are the same size. If you don't need the extra spin I would recommend purchasing a Honeywell.
