I have to start this review by stating that I've never been bitten by a radioactive spider or been exposed to military gamma radiation while accidentally making my way through the bomb zone. I wanted to save over a few bucks on replacing a Honda Civic window frame as it has completely rotted away in 8 years (that's Honda quality :D). Finishing costs about $40 per window. so about $160 to replace four simple things. I'm a handy guy as long as I have a YouTube video teaching me how to be the dad I never had, so I've seen these puppies pop out with little effort. I didn't trust myself so I was looking for the right tools and came across this set. Man, I only needed one tool, but imagine the havoc I could wreak in the auto maintenance industry if I bought a whole SET!? So I gather all the parts and grab this toolbox and feel like a boss for just about to remove the DUFF from this finish. I looked around to make sure there wasn't a bunch of passed out ladies around watching me do my thing and all I saw was a cheeky squirrel stealing all the seeds from my bird feeder. It's enough for me because I'm the boss. I walk around the car a few times, circling my prey and holding the plastic squeegee firmly with the soft side of my strong hand, baby powder dripping onto the floor in slow motion like dandelion-like floating stuff. I confidently stick the tool in the driver's side window and just start clinically kneading it and tugging at things haphazardly. I can see that the trim has moved a bit. It works exactly like YouTube Sensei taught me! Spring. nearly. The tool escapes my grasp and flies into the driveway, an inaudible scream escaping my lips. I stare at the broken half I still hold in my hand, a look steeped in disgust and contempt for the instrument's weakness compared to my own strength. For a split second, I'm proud that THIS shattered before my will to fix that disguise. But I grabbed the next tool and started pushing it into the window frame again. It worked after about 10% tool use and 90% elbow grease. I think I could have achieved the same result with a handful of leaves because it felt like ripping out a window frame with my bare hands while holding some plastic to steady my nerves and keep my five fingers close together.
