ADVANTAGES: 1) It's a good alternative for cleaning hard floors without chemicals, buckets of water or those ugly mops 2) The machine is quiet and very light, but you can add a few drops of essential oil to the water to make it work leaving that beautiful, clean scent in your home. CONS: Remember that: 1) you should be very good at vacuuming or sweeping the floors as the pads collect the least amount of dust; 2) If you're not just cleaning a small area, you'll definitely need to buy more than the 2 pads that come with the steamer. and 3) I wouldn't risk washing dirty pads in the washing machine because they get really dirty. I washed them by hand in the dishwasher in the sink and let them dry on the patio.
