Forget it won't fit most pre-drilled holes. Usually you can fix this problem. dun dun dun, drill to make the hole bigger. The main problem with this "holder" is that the two pieces of metal fly apart. When you need to change the role, the holder is divided into two parts by tension. Every time you want to replace a roll, you have to put the two parts together. I may have caught a defective piece, but this is a silly design. I have a $1 plastic holder that works better than this one. I don't care that it's $2. It's definitely on my "10 Worst Purchases of 2014" list.
