It was pretty straight forward to setup. In a matter of minutes my machine was ready to go and had connected to my shared drives. All the steps were clearly described. It does take some getting used to as most of us don’t use AWS. For example when I logged into my EBS volume and saw the EBS volume listed, it was already mounted on my system. This is something that took a little time to get used to and I am sure others would find the same. As far as I could tell the performance was good enough. However there may be better options available. I am planning to try them out in the future and compare. A great solution for those who don’t want to mess around with configuring Samba manually.
