A great star for your Christmas tree. It has bright LED lights with a pleasant glow. The best thing is the slow rotation of the lights, not some sort of speed test. To clarify, this light doesn't "change color" that much, as it has five LEDs of different colors at each point of the star, gradually turning on and off as it spins slowly (see video). Our family is very fond of this star and we have been using it since the second Christmas. Also, it has its own power supply on a roughly 7 foot cord which I recommend plugging into your own power strip on the ground rather than trying to connect the block at the end of your light filament to the top of the tree. The brick is quite heavy and shouldn't be on top of your tree. If your tree is taller than 7ft, the cord will not reach the ground, but it can be wrapped around the lower branch to change the center of gravity (light weight is better than heavy weight).
