I've tried it for stubborn folliculitis on my chest, shoulders and back. This worked for the first few days and then caused more outbreaks. This is the story of my Pitiosporum life. Anyone with this condition knows exactly what I mean. Anyway, side zinc is still great for razor bumps or rashes. I use it after shaving and leave it on for a few minutes. It dries out those little bumps. I have very sensitive skin so if it doesn't work on the upper body I don't blame the soap. I blame my swollen skin. Worth a try if you're struggling with fungal acne (which is essentially pityrosporum folliculitis) as I've done a lot of research on zinc pyrithione for this condition. That should do him good; PZ forms an invisible film on the skin even after rinsing, so it continues to work day and night. Overall a great soap for razor burn and irritation and if you have PF like me give it a try. This might work for you. there is a lot of research-backed evidence for the effectiveness of PZ on acne fungi; unfortunately it didn't work for me. Good luck, Skinner friends!
