Review on LEXIVON Distance Measuring Fractions LX 201 by Daniel Russell

I needed a new tape measure and I really needed one wide measuring tape so I could stretch it out a long way to measure if I didn't have a helper. I came across the LEXIVON 2 in 1 digital laser tape measure and was intrigued. Laser measurement, which is accurate? And goes over 100 feet? I had to try. This works just as advertised. You simply aim the red laser dot at what you want to measure and get sub-inch readings almost instantly. It measures what I've always referred to as "internal measurement", which means you place the meter on a surface, then point it and press the red button to measure. This works very well. Especially with longer measurements. I also like that the display is illuminated. It's so helpful. Another bonus is the standard tape measure. Good and smooth running with standard and metric markings on both sides. I was used to having to fix the tape at just the right distance to keep it from pulling back. This one has a slight brake all the time so it just stays where you pull it out. The button then retracts the tape at the desired speed. A little pressure and it comes back slowly, press all the way and it comes back quickly. Overall I'm very impressed. This is the "ribbon" that I will use for all my work.
