I have used many different products to get rid of cat pee smell. None of them eliminated the stench permanently. The urine smell came back after the product dried and the cats came back immediately peeing in the same places no matter how many litter boxes I had and how clean they were. Sometimes the smell of the foods I tasted was terrible too. I stopped inviting guests because of the terrible smell in the house. Finally, this year I decided to remodel many parts of my house. First I drove myself and the cats out of the house. I then tore up the whole carpet and threw it away. I'd also stripped floors, drywall, and insulation under walls and floors in areas where cats peed repeatedly. I then double treated everything I could see with PureAyre Pet Deodorizer just to be sure. After drying, I painted everything I could see with Kilz stain and odor blocker. Then I redid and painted all the sections. This time I laid wooden floors instead of carpet. So far I've caught a cat peeing in my dining room and toilet again. I immediately cleaned and treated those areas with PureAyre and it hasn't come back since. That was now 2 months ago. There are no strong smells anywhere. This stuff worked really great.
