Had to send back the first pair as they were MUCH large; You should go at least 2, if not 3 sizes smaller. I bought these to complete my daughter's Minnie Mouse Halloween costume. Although they were very cute on arrival, the bow fell off one of them on our first suitcase or treat. It left a cheap glue that was used to "fix" it to the shoes, which then picked up dirt/debris from the outside. If you're just buying them to wear I think they're fine for that, but who wants to spend $17 on a pair of dress-ups?!?
