Yaner 5500LUX is excellent in this price range and you should not hesitate to buy. That being said, the level will set your expectations based on your needs, this is a sub $200 projector and needs to be used in very dark environments to get the best experience, decent office projectors start at $399 and very good home theater projectors are north of $500 . and maybe thousands if you're a videophile. I find it interesting when I read reviews from people who call products rubbish or give a product 1 star when they spend a fraction of the cost of a lamp on high end projectors but expect them to look like a $1000 Projector and more work. It's like buying a station wagon to drive in Formula 1. We do a lot of outdoor (night) movies in our backyard on the weekends, but not enough to justify spending on high-end projectors. I've had projectors of a similar class (under $200) over the years that my kids use to show games or cartoons. Latest backyard projector (ERISAN PDW001W ($100) projects on a 100 inch portable screen, we have been using this projector for 5 years and it has paid for itself many times over considering how much it costs now, with the family I have problem with the older generation, Erisan was crisp and sharp in the center of the picture, but the picture from the center to the outer edges of the screen always seemed a little fuzzy and the texts from certain scenes in the movie (someone is reading a letter or a document in the movie) were unreadable at times, the other was the issue I was having with some Roku streaming apps not playing audio and I suspect that due to these problems with the HDMI encoding had flaws and with the occasional grumble from my home theater audience I decided to look for another projector that would solve these problems without moving to the next higher class of projectors change without breaking my budget. I stumbled across the Yaner 5500LUX and decided to take a chance on all the features that are years ahead of my old projector. 4000:1 vs 800:1 and 800x480 vs 1280x720p native resolution with support for 1920x1080p. We watched Ford vs Ferrari and were pleased to find that the image was sharp, bright and sharp from center to edge, with no motion blur during action scenes. The attached images do not convey this properly as the images were taken with my phone from 25ft away. I won't go into what the other positive reviews have mentioned, but overall we were impressed with the picture considering they offered a discount which brought the subtotal to $110. A small tweak they can make is to increase the resistance in the manual keystone slider. It was too loose on my device so when adjusting I had to gently rotate the dial to get the setting I wanted, but that's a very minor issue. The unit comes with a 3 year warranty which is extremely generous at this price considering I have a Samsung TV which costs 20x more and had problems after the 1 year warranty expired. The company gives you 1 of 4 bonus items only if you sign up for them via email (I chose the anycast adapter). All in all a great product in this price range.
