Review on 🧳 Dopp Veneto Classic Framed Leather Kit by Wesley Sergio

So with all the comments I've been hesitating between this model and the Admiral model about their plastic coated skin. Then I noticed on the close-ups between them that this one (Venetia) was 2 pieces of leather along the entire length, while the Admiral was a single piece but cost less. So maybe I was thinking of the Admiral in Bolognese leather. I ordered this (Veneto) in gray leather and I have to say it is a beautiful quality leather - looks, feels and smells like quality leather. Very well done! I am deducting a star because the bottom is not leather but nylon/rubber pebbles. While they may tell you it's for protection against wet countertops/sinks, the truth is they cut costs. I've had sets with leather bottoms before and while they can get dirty over time they have never leaked or fallen apart - plus the stains on the bottom were part of the patina. Either way I would pay another $10 if they closed the floor. The leather-free bottom really spoils the overall elegance of the leather upper. Shame - I mean it's such good leather, it's a shame they ruined it. This set is made in India. While I prefer it to be made in the USA, India does better than China - Indians have always been good at textiles and fabrics and this is no exception.
