This cleaner does the job perfectly. I have seen many other cleaners but chose this one because it had a long handle. This made it easy to reach the fans from the ground. We have one in our MBR mounted about 13 feet off the floor on a vaulted ceiling - it easily reaches it. Every season we change the fans to move the air up (winter) and down (summer). Each time, the dust stuck to the top of the blades suddenly explodes in all directions! We try to remember to go up the stairs and vacuum the blades, but not always. With this handy cleaner it is part of our regular cleaning routine and the blades are cleaned once a month - top and bottom. The microfibres absorb dirt very well and the shape of the tool adapts perfectly to the blades, ensuring a good cleaning every time. It's worth it! The only thing I didn't like was the delivery. It was packed in a long box, taped shut and badly crumpled. So the packaging definitely needs improvement.
