I bought an empty Canon XL ink tank because it had 4.5 stars and this is the cartridge model for my printer . Unfortunately the ink only lasted less than 60 pages, which is strange considering it's an XL. I ran out of ink halfway through printing my first document (about 60 pages, so 30 pages left). I replaced the cartridge with a Canon XL and it started printing just fine. I printed a second document (also about 60 pages) and on the 30th I started having lines in the text that were making it unreadable. Very disappointed considering I even changed the cartridge 10 minutes before it ran out. I am not sure if this cartridge was almost empty or if it is a defective cartridge. Either way, it's definitely overpriced - $25 for just 60 pages.
