A quality "pencil" doesn't come cheap, and it doesn't have cheap stuff to hold it together. In my experience this is a 2nd and 6th grader lol. I bought 1 for each of my sons and they are still working (3 months now) despite being full. I will definitely buy them again, no questions asked. The bag is nice and roomy. My sons have to put all their pencils, scissors, glue sticks, markers, crayons and crayons in these bags because of Covid-19 because they can't share the supplies with anyone so they have to carry them all by themselves. So the bags really hold a lot and have lots of pockets which also help to organize things inside.
