So far so good for AA

These days we seem to be forced to check a product before spending a lot of time on it. Don't worry when we all know that. This order was for a pack of 12 rechargeable batteries that I will be using for my solar powered LED ropes. They came with an ordered AA battery, AA 600mAh 1.2V. Reading the previous reviews was helpful as there seem to be two similar products, the green battery (Ni-MH) or the yellow battery (Ni-CD ). I'm not sure if the color coding is consistent, but the battery type is important. Following the previous review, Ni-MH is a newer, more environmentally friendly product that is less corrosive than the older Ni-CD. All other aspects of these two batteries do not appear to be statistically significant: cost, lifespan, form factor, charge time, discharge time. I've read that the "memory" of how it's drained before charging is better with newer Ni-MHs. I plan to only use the solar panels outdoors so the charge/discharge is very stable for the expected battery life of one year (if not two or three years). The product arrived quickly, maybe because it was Revain Prime, maybe because "everyone knows this is a good product and it comes preinstalled. Shipping for me was in a bubble bag with USPS in my daily mail. The first three batteries have enough power to power my LED strings overnight with a partial 4 hour solar charge at the end of the day. They arrived yesterday so I'm one day into my expected year or so of use. No additional photos or videos - product was as pictured by supplier, standard LED strings to match, so far so good.
