Well designed, functional cabinet

I ordered two of these cabinets for a large master bath. They were a little pricey for my budget but I found these cabinets to be high quality and solidly built. It is important to note that they have enough depth to be fully functional as storage cabinets, as well as being elegantly designed and well finished. The 3 glass shelves are adjustable so you can set them as high as you need (yes!) based on your needs. My mother warned me that the closets are deep enough. This turns out to be a pretty important feature if you really want to put stuff in a closet! This led me to Kohler rather than the cheaper imitations, and hell am I glad I decided to pay a little more and go with them. They're deep enough to hold a variety of items, and the quality of materials and finishes is impeccable. I particularly like the fact that, in addition to the front of the cabinet, there are also mirrors on the inside of the door and behind the shelves. All these mirrors bring a lot of light and functionality - you can open and apply face cream, for example, without closing the door to see the mirror. I hadn't thought about it before, but using these cabinets has become my favorite feature. Another big plus was the ability to choose how your doors open. This makes the cabinets very user-friendly and allows them to be customized to suit your specific needs and preferences. They appear to be designed for outdoor wall mounting (with side mirrors to make them look like a mirror box). But I chose to build the cabinets into the wall, so it's more like a framed mirror that sits flat against the wall. The silver edges of the interior cabinet stand out with a fixture that I don't think is standard. It looks a bit odd if you're into clean design (since the door also has gray plastic edges that detract from the cleaner all-metal look). This honestly worries me a bit, but not enough to use an external mount that would clutter my bathroom. The frame's bronze finish looks like real bronze, with shiny bronze detailing that contrasts with a darker finish rather than a cheap solid color. It looks very good with rubbed bronze or antique decor. I was quite picky about my needs and wanted something that would last, so I'm happy to say I'm very happy with these cabinets and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Pros

Cons
  • No automation
