I've had Cuisinart hard anodized pots and pans since I got them for my wedding 6 years ago and they're finally showing wear on the non-stick coating. Some show swirls but the coating is intact, while other more commonly used pans have nicks in the non-stick coating, but it's a few millimeters thick and won't flake off. I have used the medium pot ONCE to cook rice. Literally just water, salt and rice, and when I tried to scrub it with a non-abrasive sponge the entire inside outline seemed uneven and the pan was missing huge flakes of the non-stick coating, showing the aluminum underneath. I could easily scratch it with my finger. FIRST USE! My old pans were the same quality and price 6 years ago and either Cuisinart downgraded the quality or this contour set I received was a fake. In any case, they were sent back immediately and I will buy elsewhere.
