Review on Superio Dustpan Telescopic Handle Inches by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

cheap build quality; very bad dustpan

I don't like this broom and dustpan set. Build quality is generally poor. Although the cane is metal, it has a friction lock to adjust it, which often doesn't keep the length right. The broom bristles are decent in terms of flexibility (it's a very soft flex, so designed for indoor sweeping, not outdoors or the garage), but the bristle length is short and the ends aren't overly flared, allowing it to sweep can bad. Particles such as spilled rice or flour. The shovel snaps onto a pole, which is convenient and fits well. However, the dustpan's rubber rim isn't adjusted properly - it doesn't lie flat, making it very difficult to sweep up accumulated dirt. It's also not at the right angle, making it easy for dirt to be swept into the bowl. It's so poorly made that I stopped using it and went back to my old shovel (made out of rubber that lasted over a decade). While broom limitations can be fixed (tape to hold sections securely) or circumvented, dustpan issues make this product a 2 star at best, despite the price. Not the set I would recommend.
