Review on CRAFTSMAN CMHT77632 Red Spot Laser by David Fields

If you need a point laser, this tool can meet your needs. However, if you are looking for a laser level with cross lines, then this is not it. By "dot" I mean it literally gives you 3 red dots, one on each X/Y/Z plane. For my DIY needs I really need cross line projection, which this laser doesn't do. I may be using it incorrectly, but the user manual pack only has a one-page quick start guide with only pictures, and a small guide that only contains basic safety and maintenance information. There is no dedicated on/off switch on the level, only a lock/unlock switch that turns the laser on and off. However, the case is beautiful and durable. I definitely prefer my current Klein Tools cross line laser.
