This is great if you just want to protect your car from big leaves but I have a special spot under the tree that sheds a lot of sap as well as leaves and small berries. The leaves and bugs are fine, but the sap is still coming out. This fabric is NOT thick enough to stop the sap. It will still have sticky residue on it and even when I take the lid off it leaves scratches on the windshield which I assume are juice residue and lid slippage. I don't want to scratch my car and I don't want juice. DO NOT BUY if your tree is losing sap. I bought another one with a thicker shell and softer interior for the same price.
