This is a great bag for your bike. It's well built and I like the plastic part that slides in while holding its shape. If you follow the instructions it slides in fairly easily and secures so it doesn't move at all. My last bag didn't have that and it sagged a lot in the middle and looked kind of stupid. If you're looking for something big to fit a helmet or lots of gear in, this isn't for you. I've strapped it to a bike that's primarily used for the daily commute and it's perfect for storing an extra layer, your gloves, sunglasses and a few small items, but that's about it. With expandable sides, you get a few more inches, but it's not that much. This bag is best installed if you have a sissy bar. The two Velcro straps are strong and once you figure out how to tuck away the extra length of strap you're in great shape. I took a photo to show what I did, it's not great but it should point you in the right direction. I've also attached it to the trunk with additional straps that buckle together, but they aren't really needed, the two main velcro straps are very strong.
