The smell is very pleasant, it has a milky-white texture and milky appearance. The cleansing gel does not foam and the product feels liquid but creamy. It stays clear and I applied a little (a quarter the size) and massaged it into my face. The product was smooth and washed off easily. No lingering odor, oiliness or residue. My face is fresh and clean, not greasy. I would say this is worth trying as a facial cleanser. I haven't tried it as a makeup remover (I wasn't wearing makeup at the time). could skip the second step with the need to remove makeup again or wash again.
