I have two tall windows, each with an arch segment at the top. I've wanted to put stained glass in these arches since we bought this house, but the cost of custom siding is quite high, so I looked at alternatives. This part was the perfect solution. Its size fits comfortably in the arched portion of the 18" tall windows and the round shape is so consistent with the curvature of the arch. I was just able to place it securely on the part of the frame that crosses the window at the bottom of the arch. I turned them upside down so the window treatment underneath - wooden blinds hung from ledges on either side of the window (try it, they wobble) - hid the small hanging rings.We have a beautiful hickory tree just outside the window to give it more dimension.And (if you're wondering what that thing is) there's a candlestick hanging just above the top of the arch - we decided to take it down, but seems like that adds something visually pleasing. Overall this stained glass window does exactly what I wanted and more at a very reasonable price.I am sincerely grateful to each of my two friends who checked my wish list and made a Christmas present for a couple.
