I wanted to love this diaper pail and for the first six months I loved it. This is a beautiful diaper pail and I love the color. We bought Lila and it looks great in her nursery. When it's working properly, we haven't had a single odor issue. Then the diaper opening mechanism broke. Husband tried to fix it but it doesn't open fully because. something broke inside. So you opened it up and stuffed the diapers in! Rough! Well, today it doesn't close, so there's a terrible smell of diapers in there. shut my mouth When the bag is full, the edges will tear as well, so be careful not to overfill it. I emailed the company and never received a reply. UPDATE: After my review, I was contacted by the President of the company and sent a new top. Fast delivery, very easy to change. Now that the top is in place, I'm excited again! And all the giant diapers fit in the hole and I don't touch anything! And even when the bag is full, this diaper pail doesn't smell. One thing I didn't mention in my previous review is how much I love the fact that you can use any bin liner you like. It's much easier and cheaper than using manufacturer's special bags!
