Review on 🔧 Permatex 09103 Windshield Repair Kit: Restore Clarity and Safety to Your Windshield by David Hodgson

I've done four or five repairs with two or three different brands. They are all very similar. I don't have a favourite. I haven't tried the 3M brand yet. Follow directions including time for dipping and curing. Place the fabric under the work area. This kit, the glue is good, holds tight. Requires an airtight seal, so that's a good thing. Removing the glue is the hardest part. It comes out clean, but excess resin may splatter. Easy to clean. I bought two sets. One chip was four months old, the windshield had eraser-sized flaws, the glass was cloudy and had microcracks that were outside of the 1.25-inch repair recommendation. From the inside, the area is 50% less visible, the cloudy area is clear, and the outside of the windshield is flat and smooth. The second chip was three weeks old and had a smaller hole. You have to look closely to see where the chip was. It used to be very noticeable. I saw the chip as soon as I heard rock.
