I am so impressed with this little instrument. So easy to carry in your glove box or console when not in use. I had an O2 sensor code on my Jeep that I had to clear after replacing the O2 sensor. I connect it after downloading Car Scanner from App Store. It was such an easy connection and I was a bit surprised it actually worked! The Car Scanner app warned that the Chinese clones didn't work with their app and advised me to buy a special Bluetooth reader. But it connected with no problems. The Car Scanner app does quite a lot with the free version, but I was so impressed that I spent $6.99 for the full ad-free version. You can leave it on while driving to get real-time fuel consumption data, among many other stats. I will study this application and its features for a while as there are so many of them. I tried to clean up my code which wasn't cleaned up. When I tried again, I paid closer attention and the first time it was user error. The second time, my code gets cleaned up slightly. I may have another O2 sensor that needs replacing but I can easily monitor its voltage with this reader. I am really impressed with this item. It's that easy to use. I only used the Car Scanner app, but of course you can use other third-party apps as well. Check out my screen recording for a glimpse of the CS app's features, which is by no means exhaustive, just a glimpse of what's available.
