We are trying to renovate our house on a budget because we are young and it’s not our forever home. The kitchen needed jazzed up and I didn’t like the dark grey painted wall so I looked order this backsplash! I read the reviews and bought spray adhesive as well. You don’t need a knife, heavy duty craft scissors work fine. I didn’t degreaser the wall either because it was kinda textured so it needed sanded. I used sandpaper and wiped off the excess dust. It’s very easy to apply. Cutting it at the right size is what’s tough. The corners are tough as well. We are going to add caulk in the corners and hope that helps the appearance. Overall I’m happy with it though! It’s not perfect but it will work. No one should be looking at my backsplash up close anyway. I used two and a half boxes for mine.
