So far these transmissions seem fine with the settings I have set on my daughter Barbie's jeep. I was a bit skeptical when I opened up the gearbox and saw that the airbag space was in the middle of the lower gears, but I had no problems so I'll see how it works. The motors that come with these gears are really no faster than the OEM motors at 12v, but when the 18v booster is turned on the little jeep flies and moves much faster than the OEM motors at 18v. The little one Jeep runs off main 22 amp 12 volt battery with 5 amp 18 volt boost amp on momentary switch. These mounts, which are actually for the F150, required a small modification to the jeep as shown in the photos, as the axle on the jeep is smaller in diameter than the gearbox bore this was not a problem.
