Our tank broke and I didn't want to buy a new carpet cleaner for at least 200.00 - I looked up my model number and bought it. It worked the same as my previous one that was discontinued. Just make sure you find the model number on the back of your carpet cleaner and match it to the numbers in the description that the seller provides for compatibility. 50.00 instead of 250.00
