Excellent for high performance engines used less than commercial applications.
I have been using these Donaldson durable polyester pads (2 ELFs and a standard bypass filter in series) for over 10 years with excellent results. I regularly sample 9 gallons of Amsoil synthetic oil in a 12.5 liter Volvo engine in our specific Volvo camper truck and change this oil based on the specified sampling. The standard bypass filter is replaced every 10,000 miles or annually regardless of oil quality analysis as it has a cellulose filter substrate.
